POSTS / Share button on Xbox Series X controller not working via Bluetooth

I can’t remember when, but the share button on my Xbox Series X controllers have been not working for some days.

Today I tried to figure it out. I firstly thought it was a controller mapping conflict because pushing the home button on controllers will call Steam to the front. That’s weird because I have never done settings about that. I did find an option from Steam but it wasn’t on.

I went to Xbox Accessories for help. Surprisingly, I found that share button is not recognized at all. I switched to wired mode then everything became OK.

Finally, I found this post from Reddit: Capture button on Xbox Series X controller stopped working on Bluetooth only some days ago (Windows 11), which says it may be caused by one Windows 11 update: KB5034204. After going through the following comments saying that a newer update KB5034765 should also be killed, I gave up. It’s not worth uninstalling one or even more Windows Updates for a share button on controllers. All that I can do is just to wait for another Windows 11 Update to fix this issue.
